The challenge :
26th September 2009 - 2 options: A heavy support/ rare option from your codex or army book. Point limit is a minimum of 80 points, and can be a tank, warmachine, walker, heavy weapons squad etc - anything from the heavy or rare sectons of your books. The second option is for a troops/ infantry choice, minimum of 60 points and spending as much time on these guys as possible will only help us to improve our painting/ modelling skills!
Good luck everyone!
I've made one heavy choice with an artillery squadron (my codex is in french, I don t know the UK name of this formation). That's a basilisk, a griffon and a colossus. A total of 340 army points (without calculating the options). The Forge World Colossus come without an hull heavy bolter which it should have with the new rules. I ve tried to add one, but it was looking less cool. I ll take one with a bit of patafix if I ever go to a tournament and find a boring adversary ! It took me some time to finish the squad as I'mcoming back from the hospital (dont ask) and I'm still suffering / disabled. I can still paint stuff, but not for long periods as I have troubles to focus myself. I should be ok next week !
