Man I just love seeing these pics as its the random nature of the units which appeals to me.
You too often see in the hobby neat and tidy units all dressed the same, with perfect shields and weapons etc, when in reality due to new drafts, wear and tear, battle damage etc, units would look more than a little battle worn.
I know these figs are not an army as such, hence the adhoc nature of them, but its still great to see them and the period is becoming very appealing.
@Paul : thank you, I agree with you : and that's also true with todays armies where cloths are different in colors after a few weeks of wearing the combat dress... It was obviously worse in previous ones. I have a USSR WW2 army where no minies have the same uniform colors... but that s more easill achieved with a Spartacus army !
@Jehan : Merci... Je dois avouer qu'il me tarde de travailler sur les numides (j'attends la commande), mais qu'ils m'intimident un peu !
